"First State, First Step: Delaware to the Moon" Film & Discussion

Products critical to the success of the 1969 lunar landing were developed at three Delaware companies—DuPont, W. L. Gore & Associates and International Latex Corporation (ILC)— by committed Delawareans, some of who are still alive. Combining their interviews with those of scholars and historians, as well as never-seen file footage of these products being developed, this compelling documentary explores the story behind one of America's greatest technological achievements. Q&A with the director follows the screening.
