Spaceflight Revealed

Spaceflight Revealed

In his program, Spaceflight Revealed, West Point graduate, Vietnam combat veteran and three time shuttle astronaut, Richard ‘Mike’ Mullane uses NASA videos and photos to explain the reality of living and working in space. Included in his comments are discussions on the physiological effects of weightless; the challenges of zero-gravity for sleeping, eating, using the toilet and other habitability activities; and the wondrous beauty of earth sights. The fear factor associated with the dangers of spaceflight, for both the astronauts and their families, will be discussed.
Mullane will answer some of the top questions he is frequently asked, including questions associated with the ‘faked moon landing’ and UFOs. Finally, he discusses his life journey from child to astronaut in a very humorous and motivating manner.

Browseabout Books will have copies of his books Riding Rockets, The Outrageous Tales of a Space Shuttle Astronaut and Do Your Ears Pop in Space? for sale at the event and Mr. Mullane will sign them afterwards.
