Adult Memoir Writing Workshops

Adult Memoir Writing Workshops

Of all the forms of non-fiction, memoir writing is the most personal. And, it also has become one of the most popular forms of written expression. Indeed, the heightened interest in memoirs is tied to an array of motivations, including a desire to leave a personal legacy for friends and family. But writing a good memoir can be a challenge. To guide that journey, this three-session workshop will help you master - and practice - the basics of writing a good, readable memoir. No prior writing experience is needed.

The instructor for the writing workshops will be Georgetown resident, Rae Tyson.  He has been a professional writer for over 30 years. Tyson, a former public school educator, is currently teaching writing classes at the University of Delaware.
