AAUW Work Smart Salary Negotiation Workshop
On average, women who work full time in the U.S. take home about 80 cents for every dollar a male worker earns. The gender pay gap is the result of many factors, including occupational segregation, bias against working mothers, and direct pay discrimination. Additionally, such things as racial bias, disability, access to education, and age come into play. Consequently, different groups of women experience very different gaps in pay.
Take charge of your financial future by learning how to better negotiate your salary! Attend this two-hour salary negotiation workshop to gain the skills and confidence to successfully negotiate your salary and benefits packages.
