Universe of Stories - Ask a Scientist Panel (adult version)

Universe of Stories - Ask a Scientist Panel (adult version)

As part of the Library's celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo Lunar Landing, join us for an adult only Q&A session about space and science in general. Our guest specialists will answer any and all audience questions about those scientific, engineering and technology things you've always wondered about but have never been able to ask an expert. We’ll have a lot of fun doing it, and we’ll record it as a video podcast for the show Mythwits that you can watch again when you get home!

Panel participants include Jack Clemons (author of Safely to Earth: The Men and Women Who Brought the Astronauts Home), Russell Werneth (Aerospace Engineer, NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center), Dr. Jennifer Biddle (University of Delaware College of Earth, Ocean & Environment - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology), Dr. Thomas A. Evans (University of Delaware, Department of Plant and Soil Sciences), and Doug Miller (University of Delaware College of Earth, Ocean & Environment). Panel moderator is Peter Bryant (Æther Forge Creations).

Registration is requested. Sign up online, call the library at 302-645-2733, or stop by the Circulation Desk. Walk ins are welcome.
