Candidates for Greatness

This 3-part film series presents individuals who inspired, challenged, and provoked our beliefs and understanding of the human condition.
This month's film is Michael Collins (1996), starring Liam Neeson, Aidan Quinn, and Julia Roberts. Written and directed by Neil Jordan, this is an historical biopic of Irish revolutionary Michael Collins, the man who led a guerrilla war against the UK, helped negotiate the creation of the Irish Free State, and led the National Army during the Irish Civil War.

Film discussions led by Russ Notar, who taught the enjoyment of film at the University of Delaware, George Mason University, and Delaware Humanities.
Registration is requested. Sign up online, call the Library at 302-645-2733, or stop by the Circulation Desk. Walk-ins are welcome.
