Open hours are for Route 9 Maker Lab members; this means you have completed the Orientation class and a certification for the equipment you want to use. This is time when you can practice the skills you've learned and to make your own projects. Remember to wear your badge, sign in and only use equipment for which you have been trained.

If you have completed Orientation but not a certification for a piece of equipment, you are welcome to come and use the tables or Green Screen area.

Since we are generally busy during open hours, you are not guaranteed access to a piece of equipment unless you reserve it using the Equipment Schedule spreadsheet that is linked in your weekly member email.

Note: The Shop Supervisor is primarily in charge of ensuring your safety, and may not be able to assist you with all of the equipment. Ask other members for help-we are friendly!
