This book takes readers on a historical journey, exploring the lives of these extraordinarily intelligent creatures, and the mahout, the term for the men who ride them. Kirkus Review describes it as "An insightful look at a rare cross-species relationship."

The author will join us for a discussion via Skype. Copies of the book are available for check out at the Library - ask for one at the Circulation Desk.
