Ghosts of the First State: An Evening with Josh Hitchens

Online
In-Person or Online

Step into the shadowy side of Delaware history with author Josh Hitchens for a fascinating community conversation inspired by Haunted History of Delaware, the Delaware Great Reads from Great Places 2026 Adult book selection.

Through stories of restless spirits, haunted landmarks, and unexplained encounters, Josh will explore how Delaware's past continues to echo in present day. Participants will hear about the research and storytelling process behind the book, discover the real history connected to Delaware's ghost lore, and engage in a lively discussion about why haunted stories continue to captivate communities across generations.

Perfect for history lovers, paranormal enthusiasts, and curious readers alike, this event invites audiences to uncover the places where Delaware's history—and perhaps its spirits—still linger.
