Kwanza Corn Wreaths

Kwanza Corn Wreaths

Get ready for Kwanza celebrations in style! We will be honoring one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa called Kuumba which is a commitment to using one's creative energy to make the community and home a more beautiful and beneficial place by making a corn wreath craft! Corn is a symbol used during Kwanzaa to represent the children, who are seen as the future of the family and the community. For our craft we will use recycled objects such as bubble wrap to paint the texture of the corn then once the paint is dry we will cut and assemble the paper corn wreath. Stop by to pursue your creative interests and come together in the community!
