Delaware Authors Forum Presents: Ask a Screenwriter: An Open Discussion with Everett De Morier

Ever wondered what it takes to write a screenplay, land a producer, or
see your story brought to the screen? Join award-winning author and
screenwriter Everett De Morier for a free, open discussion on the craft
and business of screenwriting.

De Morier is the author of the acclaimed novel Thirty-Three Cecils (now
in film development with Dustin Hoffman and Matthew Modine) and the
co-author of In the Ghost Shadows, currently being adapted into a
docudrama by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson's G-Unit Productions. His work has
earned international recognition, including nominations for both the
Edgar Award (U.S.) and the Dagger Award (U.K.). Beyond his books, De
Morier has written multiple screenplays and developed projects with
production companies such as Hello Sunshine (Reese Witherspoon) and
Sunset River Productions.

This is your chance to ask anything about screenwriting, navigating
Hollywood, pitching to producers, adapting books into films, or simply
getting started. Whether you're an aspiring writer, a film buff, or just
curious about how stories make the leap from page to screen, this is an
opportunity to go behind the scenes with a working screenwriter.

Free and open to the public. Bring your questions!
