Get together to read, talk about books, and do fun activities that go along with the books at Bookworm Buddies on Monday, December 1st from 4:00-5:00pm. Our monthly Bookworm Buddies is growing and so we are going to split up different ages into groups. Please register children only at greenwood.lib.de.us or by calling (302) 855-1242.

Butterflies (ages 6-8) will be diving into Junie B Jones: Turkeys We Have Loved and Eaten by Barbara Park, followed by related activities.  Kids are encouraged to read (or listen to) the book before the program.  Copies of the book will be available at the Greenwood Public Library from early September, and copies are also available for instant download on the Hoopla app.

Caterpillars (ages 3-5) will have their own story time and craft followed by play time.

Little Wrigglers (ages 0-2) will have their own play area with their parents or caregivers.

This program provides an opportunity for young readers to develop literacy, critical thinking, and foster social interaction.
