In this interactive program, Dr. Horey will present his exciting solo performances combining classical music, rock, jazz, and latin, while playing marimba and drums. Shortly after, teens will be guided through rhythm and movement activities, basic instruction on different drums and percussion, all accomplished through shared motivation and teamwork. Questions and a discussion will be encouraged after.

Bio: Dr. Scotty Horey is a drummer, solo artist, and teacher who is passionate about both performing and teaching. His work centers around embracing classical music as well as jazz, rock, and latin music while focusing on youth mentorship, cultural exchange, and health and wellness.
