Latin American history, anthropology, geography, language and music disciplines will be blended to present the diversity among the many countries that make up Latin America and their historic presence in the current USA.  This beautiful presentation combines images of people and places, as well as music and ways of expression through dance.  Patrons will be invited to participate.  

Charito Calvachi-Mateyko has spent her professional career studying, mastering and implementing established methods to promote peace and justice within society.  She is a restorative justice practitioner and a passionate promoter of racial justice and the Latino culture. She is a lawyer, was a radio show host, an author, a storyteller, and a teacher. Our library community is lucky to be able to meet her and enjoy this experience that will surely broaden your cultural awareness.
