DELAWARE CITY LIBRARY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS
We’re getting some fantastic updates — new carpeting, fresh paint (as much as we can tackle!), new window shades, and brand-new computers! 
The not-so-great news: to make all this happen, the Library will be closed from September 1–13.
Some programs will be held during the closure:
Social Services Specialist – every Tuesday, 10 AM–4 PM, in the same room as usual
Children’s Storytime – Tuesday mornings but OUTSIDE on the field next to the Library
Unfortunately, this means that you will NOT be able to pick up holds or use the Delaware City Library's other services during the closure. Re-direct your holds and visit our amazing family of New Castle County Libraries - https://www.newcastlede.gov/287/Branches
Have some free time in September? We’d love some volunteer help! We need extra hands for:
Moving books, shelves & furnishings
Cleaning
Paint prep & painting
Installing window shades
