Austen Promenade with the Dover English Country Dancers
2025 marks beloved author Jane Austen's 250th birthday. In all of her novels, Austen used dancing and social gatherings as a "certain step toward falling in love (Pride and Prejudice)." Enjoy a demonstration of traditional country dancing by the Dover English Country Dancers. Limited seating; first come, first served. (Parent or other responsible adult must be present in the library, including during library programs, for any child/youth under the age of 16.)
