CREATIVE AGING: THE JOY OF DRAWING

Embrace your inner artist in a class that encourages experimentation and self-expression. Drawing is good for the brain too - it reduces stress, strengthens memory, and releases endorphins. No experience is necessary in this gentle introduction to various materials and unique approaches to drawing for the sake of joy. Materials used include pencil, charcoal, pen, ink, and watercolor and pastel.

The Access Creative Aging initiative, in partnership with the Delaware Division of Arts, is designed to provide Delaware’s older population with opportunities for artistic expression, social interaction, and enhanced mental and physical health through meaningful engagement in the arts.

Registration required. This is an 8 week class and participants are registering to attend all 8 classes.
