Lauren Thomas, author of "The Celtic Code," will join us for an author talk about her experience researching and writing the novel, which is heavily based in Irish history, culture, and mythology. Thomas, a Gaelic scholar with deep family roots in Ireland, seeks to 'awaken the world to the beauty, mystery, and power of Irish myth' - and to remind her readers that the old magic still lingers, waiting to be remembered.

"While giving a lecture on Irish Mythology, Harvard professor, Dr. Rory Flaherty, meets Finn Issine. The meeting leaves him perplexed when Finn tears off a corner of the business card and hands it back to Rory saying the pieces will come back together in the future. The same week, he is contacted by Irish investigator Clarke who questions him on his relationship with Finn.
