Mixed-Media Collage Making

Mixed-Media Collage Making

Stepping into Your Story: Mixed-Media Collage Making

During this workshop, participants may be playful or bold and anything in between as they experience the fun of mixed-media collage making. In this introductory class, participants will explore the use of craft embellishments, paper, symbols, and textures to create a mixed-media collage on a 6” x 6” wood plaque. We will title our work by creating a six-word life story.

Participants may bring “found objects” such as:

·      buttons, match book covers, thread, pebbles, feathers, small twigs, etc.

·      copies of pictures (self, people, things & places)
