Teen Leadership Council

Teens: Want to create programs YOU are interested in? Help create displays and highlight exciting books you want other teens to read? Want to make a difference in your community?

The Teen Leadership Council meets with the Teen/YA Library Specialist to brainstorm and plan library programming and displays created BY teens, FOR teens. TLC members earn service hours and must be ages 12-17.

At this meeting we will be .....

-Voting on Imazine Art

-Signing up to assist with our Library Block Party in September

-Creating new YA book displays and engagement posters

Interested in joining TLC or learning how to become a Teen Volunteer in the library??

Step 1: Please complete the Teen Library Survey where you tell us what you love about libraries and leave your contact info.

Step 2: Register below and join us for our next meeting!

If volunteering at the library is NOT something you are interested in, below are some other places where teens can volunteer locally, or search for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
