Tween Thursday: DASEF Presents: What is inertia?

Tween Thursday: DASEF Presents: What is inertia?

Inertia is a funny word but something you experience every day! Inertia is another name for Isaac Newton's First Law of Motion, which states that an object stays still or keeps movign at the same speed and in a straight line unless it is acted upon by a force.

This program includes fun demonstrations to help you understand Newton's First Law:

Inertia Hat - Your head will be spinning!

Water Bottle Flick - Just right, Goldilocks!

Egg Drop (and... a bunny drop challenge)

"Flying Beads" - go with the flow!

This program is intended for tweens ages 8-12.
