EVENT FAQ'S

Disclaimer: Cameras are welcome at our events. However, if you have not received permission from the Wilmington Library director, please remain seated with your camera. Standing on chairs, in the aisles, or at the back of the room to record or take photos is prohibited as it obstructs the view of others, creates a fire hazard, and potentially blocks our live-streaming cameras. This behavior also hinders guests, especially those in wheelchairs, from moving in and out of the Commons room to find a seat or use the restroom. Please do not block entrances or exits. Everyone must find a seat. If you need assistance, staff members and volunteers are available to help you find one. Please be kind and courteous to one another and to our hardworking library staff who bring you these events. To speak to someone directly about your questions or concerns, please call 302-571-7400.
