Conversation with Jane Rosenberg | Drawn Testimony
Online
Join the Lewes Public Library and Seaside Jewish Community online for a conversation with Jane Rosenberg, America's top courtroom sketch artist and author of Drawn Testimony: My Four Decades as a Courtroom Sketch Artist. This penetrating, compulsively readable memoir about her dramatic four-decade career received starred reviews from the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, Library Journal, Booklist, and Bookpage. Susan Aaronson, a member of the Seaside Book Group, will interview Ms. Rosenberg.
Jane Rosenberg has a unique job as a courtroom sketch artist, giving her a front row seat to almost every major trial that has passed through the New York justice system. In pastel, she has captured for us the demeanor of trial defendants like Donald Trump, John Gotti, Ghislaine Maxwell, Woody Allen, and Martha Stewart. Her drawing of Tom Brady garnered her more publicity than she bargained for! This memoir tells us how she does her job and captures the psychology and drama as they occur in the courtroom.
