Family Astronomy Night

Family Astronomy Night

Calling all curious minds to join us at the Greenwood Public Library on Tuesday, March 4th from 6:00-7:30pm for a fun family night of learning about the chemistry of space!  Begin indoors with a variety of demonstrations and then move outside (weather pending) to observe the skies through telescopes.  We are excited to welcome amateur astronomer, Stephen Burman to present this program.  All ages are welcome to attend this program, and activities will be best suited to ages 8+ and parental participation is required for children attending.  Please register at greenwood.lib.de.us or by calling (302) 855-1242. This program is designed to give learners a deeper understanding of the world around us, and to develop curiosity, innovation, and resourcefulness through exposure to topics of science, technology, engineering, or math.
