Rethinking Our Home Landscapes

Rethinking Our Home Landscapes

Before you dive into spring gardening and lawn care this year consider joining us for a free 1-hour lecture on home landscaping. There is much in this world over which we have very little control, but we have complete control over how we treat our property. Our obsession with large green lawns is harming the health of watersheds, soil, insects, birds, and us! Reimagining our home landscape so that native plants cover more space than turf grass is a powerful place to begin making a difference for our health and that of the planet. Presented by Kathy Doyle, speaker with the Delaware Humanities. Sponsored and funded by Delaware Humanities. Registration is encouraged.
