Shakespeare Summer Acting Intensive for Middle School Students

Shakespeare Summer Acting Intensive for Middle School Students

Students enrolled in the Shakespeare Summer Acting Intensive will participate in thirty hours of intensive training in text work, scene study, and performance preparation by professional actors and master teachers with expertise in Shakespearean performance practice. The intensive will culminate in a public performance of Shakespeare’s work. This program is intended for highly motivated students in grades 5 through 8 with a strong interest in performance and/or Shakespeare. Students will be expected to work independently outside of class sessions to prepare for a public performance.

The Shakespeare Summer Acting Intensive is funded by a grant from the Lewes Public Library Spoken Word Society.

Registration is required.

A public performance will be held on August 23, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room. Registration is required for the performance.
