Join us in person for a conversation on a French movie previously seen at home. Please note: basic French conversational ability is required. This group is for participants 18 years and older.

This month's meeting discussion is on a film Saint Omer (2022). The film follows Rama, a novelist who attends the trial of Laurence Coly at the Saint-Omer Criminal Court to use her story to write a modern-day adaptation of the ancient myth of Medea, but things don't go as expected. Directed by Alice Diop. Written by Alice Diop, Amrita David, and Marie N'Diaye. Starring Kayije Kagame, Guslagie Malanda, and Valérie Dréville.
