Yin Yoga Series
Unwind after your day with us at the library in this free 1-hour yin yoga series taught by RYT-500 certified yoga instructor, Sarah Schaber. In this three-class series we will use relaxing longer held postures and stretches, coupled with breath and meditation, to help create a sense of inner peace and calm, while decreasing stress levels and possibly improving flexibility, mobility and sleep.
We will be moving through various positioning (i.e. lying on our backs and abdomen, seated, hands and knees, and standing.) In order to ensure all participants' safety, we do ask that you are able to move and reposition independently.
Reminders:
- Please bring a yoga mat or towel from home.
- Registration is recommended to ensure a spot in the class. As this is a series, registering once will sign you up for all three classes. Participants should only register if they plan to attend all three sessions. If you are on the waiting list, cannot commit to all three dates, or do not want to register, we recommend attending as a walk-in (on a first come, first service basis as space permits).
