Violinist Eliezer Gutman and pianist Lotus Cheng will perform a recital featuring a trip through three continents: Europe with Bach, Mozart and Brahms, Asia with Chinese composer Chen-Yi, and North America with composer William Kroll.
Gutman and Cheng are both teachers at the Music School of Delaware. Celebrating 100 years of providing excellence in music education, training, and experiences for people of all ages and abilities, The Music School of Delaware offers on-site and virtual programming from private lessons in more than 30 instruments and voice, to music history and beyond. Instruction is offered in classical, rock, jazz, and folk genres, and the school presents over 100 public performances, workshops, master classes, and events annually. Operating out of its primary locations in Wilmington and Milford, the Music School of Delaware is the only nationally accredited, statewide community music school in the nation, is a charter member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education, and received the State of Delaware Governor’s Award for the Arts in 2010.
