Creative Reuse: Arts & Crafts Supply Exchange
Do you have unused art & craft supplies gathering dust in storage? Have you ever wanted to try a new craft, but didn't want to splurge on expensive materials? Come to the Library's Arts & Craft Supply Exchange!
You can bring in supplies to donate/exchange in advance of the program by dropping them off at the Reference Desk between October 10 - 21. You will receive a ticket for first access to materials on October 23.
6-7pm: Patrons with Tickets
7-8pm: Everyone is welcome
Please make sure that any items you donate are clean and in usable condition.
Things that can be donated include (but are not limited to!):
- Scrapbooking supplies (scrapbook paper, stickers, decoupage glue, scissors, stamps, etc)
- Sewing notions (buttons, thread, zippers & fasteners, seam rippers, etc)
- Fabric and fabric notions (like ribbons, bias tape, etc)
- Art supplies (markers, paints, colored pencils, paintbrushes, sketchbooks, etc)
- Knitting and crochet supplies (needles & crochet hooks, yarn, stitch markers & holders, etc)
- Jewelry making supplies (beads, pliers, chains, charms, etc)
- Kids craft supplies (pom poms, felt, googly eyes, construction paper, etc)
- Craft project kits (if mostly intact)
- Baby food jars, napkins, wood, craft books, magazines, sewing patterns
