Our Two Party System: The Evolution of the U.S. Political Parties

Join us at the South Coastal Library for a free three-part lecture series examining the origins and evolution of political parties in the United States. Dr. Bill Gudelunas, will first explain our two-party system, including the different political parties over the years, highlighting their respective platforms and major candidates, before bringing our attention to the modern-day political parties. We will also learn about some of the historical and currently significant third parties and their roles in influencing elections and the American people.
