Elise Seyfried | Nanamorphosis: Reflections on an Ever-Evolving Life

In-person

Join us in the library as author Elise Seyfried discusses her fifth book, Nanamorphosis. As caterpillars become butterflies, so do we all transform, throughout our lives. This collection of humorous spiritual essays celebrates Elise's ever-evolving life as Mom, Nana, church worker and writer. The book includes stories of her growing family, her recent retirement from church, and life during the pandemic.

Elise Seyfried is the author of five books of humorous spiritual essays, many of which appeared in a diverse assortment of publications. Elise has appeared on stage in Listen to Your Mother and This is My Brave (which she co-produced), telling true stories of motherhood and mental illness. In addition, Elise is a retired director (of Spiritual Formation at Christ's Lutheran Church in Oreland, PA), a producer (of five kids), and Aiden and Peter’s Nana. She writes about her funny, hectic life--and the wonder of God's grace through it all.
