Homeschool Connections: Bowers Beach Whelk Hunt
Join us on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from September to May for fun events just for homeschoolers! These events are designed for kids ages 6-18. All of our events are completely free of charge.
Registration is required for all events and opens approximately one month before the event begins. Please ensure that your email and phone number are correct and only register the participating youth (ages 6-18)! One no-call, no-show will result in removal from the registration list, but you are still welcome to join as a walk-in & see if space is available.
On May 20th, we'll meet at the Bowers Beach parking lot, which is located at 102 S Flack Ave, Frederica, DE 19946. From there, we will walk onto Bowers Beach and hunt for whelks, cool rocks and shells, and enjoy our time in the sand for our last Homeschool Connections program of the school year.
