Library on the Loose
Attention New Castle families: this summer the library is coming to YOU! Every third Saturday from May 18 - August 21 we'll be out in the heart of our Buttonwood and Dobbinsville communities. We'll be giving away books so that children can build up their home libraries, handing out free ice cream coupons, giving out free summer feeding information, and playing outside with music and our bubble machine. All children will also have the opportunity to meet a police officer and city councilperson! Grab a book, dance to some music, play with bubbles, or have a fun time outside with friends and family!
Each month the library will be at 22 Buttonwood Avenue (Buttonwood United Methodist Church) from 11am-12pm, and at 701 Clymer St (Dobbinsville Park) from 2-3pm. Families can find us under our tent, and are welcome to play before and after while we are setting up and taking down. No costs are associated with this program, and no registration is required.
