Join Kathleen Spane, with University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, for a 2 hour class on canning basics. Is your summer garden overflowing with beautiful produce? Do you love to shop at orchards for sweet, juicy fruit and farmers markets piled high with seasonal vegetables? If practiced properly canning is an important, safe method of food preservation to save summer's bounty. This introductory training will review the basic steps of home food preservation by water bath canning.
