Sussex Tech Adult Education GED Class | Registration and Orientation

Sussex Tech Adult Education GED Class | Registration and Orientation

In-person

Invest in yourself! This free in-person class will help students improve their skills and prepare for all subjects covered on the GED® (General Educational Development) test. The GED exam is designed for adults over the age of 16 who have not earned a high school diploma and are not currently enrolled in high school. It is a nationally standardized test accepted throughout the United States for employment and/or post-secondary education. Test taking strategies such as how to use a calculator and read a formula sheet are also covered. Trained instructors will teach students how to "slash the trash" when taking the test and what to expect on the extended responses.

The class meets twice a week for a total of 6 hrs per week. NOTE: the classes do not meet on state and federal holidays.

This program is provided by Sussex Tech Adult Education, which is part of the Sussex County Vocational Technical School District, and it offers High School diploma, GED, and ESL (English as a Second Language) classes throughout Sussex County.

For more information or to register, go here or call 302-856-9035. You must attend both days of registration and orientation.
