MAKE: Book Binding a Journal or Sketchbook
Join us in the Maker Lab to learn basic hand-sewn book binding techniques with Artist Katherine LeCocq! We will each make a finished book in the class.
We will be adding writing prompts within our hand-bound pages. As part of our Black History Month Celebration, we'll use quotes from famous Black Americans, such as:
"If you look at what you have in life, you'll always have more" ~Oprah Winfrey
"Just don't give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don't think you can go wrong." ~Ella Fitzgerald
