Chickens on Delmarva: 100 years of flocks, farms and friends

Join us at South Coastal Library for a mini-presentation and exhibit on the Delaware's Poultry Industry with local author Joanne Guilfoil. Joanne Guilfoil, author of multiple books, her most recent being, Chickens on Delmarva: 100 years of flocks, farms and friends, will be here to give a short 10–15-minute presentation on the history of the chicken industry in Delaware and then participants are welcome to browse the room and look at the temporary display of photographs documenting different aspects, successes and time periods of Delmarva’s poultry history.

There will be an author book signing for those participants who pre-purchase her latest book, Chickens on Delmarva: 100 years of flocks, farms and friends. It is available at some local bookstores and online.
