Cooking by the Book

Cooking by the Book

Cooking by the Book!

Join us once a month for a cookbook book club at the library!

Each month, participants will make a recipe from the chosen cookbook (voted by members of the group) and then will bring in the dish to share with the group.

Participants are encouraged to discuss cooking, recipes and how to improve them, and the book itself. This club is also a great way for you to meet members of your community and to try new foods!

This month, we will be cooking from Thug Kitchen: Party Grub by Thug Kitchen LLC

This book contains mature language. Reader discretion is advised.

A reference copy will be available upon request if no other copies are available.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own Tupperware to take leftovers to go.

For ages 18 & up, please.

Please be advised that the food prepared here may contain these ingredients: milk, eggs, wheat, soybean, peanuts, tree nuts, and other common food allergens.

This program is designed to teach patrons valuable cooking skills in a fun and upbeat environment while covering topics such as nutrition, food prep, kitchen safety, cultural foods, and budgeting.
