Jane Austen: Her Life and Times
Join us for a lecture celebrating National Literature Month! This lecture, presented by Trish Chambers, will introduce us to the cultural and societal expectations of English Society during the time of Jane Austen's life and literary career. We will learn how Jane Austen portrayed English society in her six major works, how the personalities of her heroines developed over her writing career and how her own life experiences are reflected in her writing. Performed in Period Costume.
Registration is appreciated but walk in's are also welcomed.
