Dr. Bettina L. Love is an award-winning author and the William F. Russell Professor at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her writing, research, teaching, and educational advocacy work meet at the intersection of disrupting education reform and strengthening public education through abolitionist teaching, antiracism, Black joy, and educational reparations. You can purchase her new book Punished for Dreaming: How School Reform Harms Black Children the day of our event *while supplies last.
This event will be moderated by the Director of the Delaware State Housing Authority, Eugene R. Young.
No registration or tickets required. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
Cameras are allowed at our events, however, if you have not been given permission by the Wilmington Library director, you must remain seated with your camera. Please do not stand on chairs or in the aisles in an attempt to record or take photos, this will obstruct the view of others as well as our cameras that will be streaming this event live.
