Celebrate International Underground Railroad Month with a photographic journey of the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway.  The Library has partnered with The Underground Railroad Coalition of Delaware and award-winning Delaware City photographer Lynn Dilliplane for a display featuring the byway’s historic sites within the state of Delaware.

The exhibit opens Friday, September 22, 2023 with a reception from 6-8pm at the Delaware City Library at 250 5th Street in Delaware City. Meet the photographer and “shake hands” with books about the Underground Railroad from the Delaware City Library collection. Light refreshments provided and all ages are welcome.
