Join us at Newark Free Library for a Jazzy evening with a world renowned trio of Jazz musicians!! Don't miss as they walk us through World Music styles and how they have influenced the great American songbook and Jazz. AND experience an interactive music session with the musicians where they welcome children and adults to step up and see what it's like to play the acoustic bass and introduce them to the drums and how music has progressed with the technology

More about the Musicians:

Tony Cimorosi has been on the NYC World Beat, Rock, R&B, Jazz and contemporary Jazz scene for over 40 years, playing with world renowned musicians including; the Brazilian Power Samba band Pe De Bois.

Tony Miceli is an internationally renowned jazz vibraphonist and one of the primary voices on the mallet instrument today.  Miceli is the co-creator of the World Vibes Congress, a formal gathering group of players who share the desire to bring public awareness to the vibraphone instrument.

Koko Bermejo is a professional jazz drummer, educator, and composer. He is originally from the Philippines and currently living in New York City metro area. Koko has toured internationally while living in Europe and Asia and was associate professor at the Belgium Conservatory.
