Rhythm, Rhyme and Story Time with Barn Hill Preserve

Rhythm, Rhyme and Story Time with Barn Hill Preserve

The fun continues with Barn Hill Preserve, home to over 35 species of exotic animals including two-toed sloths, red kangaroos, otters, an aardvark and more! Barn Hill Preserve provides fun and educational programs featuring our animal ambassadors.

They will bring 5 of our smaller animal ambassadors (such as a kangaroo joey, hedgehog, bearded dragon, tortoise, etc.) to each library and will have a roughly 45 minute presentation with time for questions and some interaction with the animals depending on the group size so as not to overwhelm the animals. During our program, participants will learn about things such as the animal’s diets, habitat, social behaviors, defenses, etc.

The nationwide theme this year is All Together Now, and our animals all come together to help teach the community.
