Library @ Delaware Deaf Fest 23'--POSTPONED

Due to an inclement weather forecast, the Deaf Fest has been postponed. We don't have a date in mind yet, but stay tuned as more updates become available.

Join us at the Delaware Deaf Fest 23!

Delaware Deaf Fest ‘23 will be a day-long festival to celebrate Deaf culture and American Sign Language (ASL). The event is being held at the Hope Center at Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church! The address is 81 Central Avenue, Ocean View, DE. The event is from 10 am to 3 pm. Sponsored by the Delaware Deaf Senior Citizens.

Proceeds from the event will support Deaf and hard of hearing students in Delaware schools. South Coastal Library will be handing out free ASL grab & go crafts for children and will have library information available. You can also enjoy family-friendly activities, deaf culture videos and performances, American Sign Language classes, raffle baskets, a bake sale, food trucks, and more! The day coincides with the International Week of Deaf People which is celebrated worldwide.
