September is National Preparedness Month!
Please join in a weekly series about important steps you and your family should take to make a difference in your level of readiness, preparedness and personal safety. The series will begin with an introduction to basic emergency preparedness steps, followed by one-hour mini-workshops on specific actions you can take to increase your readiness and preparedness.
This session will provide an overview of important steps individuals and families should take to be ready for emergencies and disasters, such as preparing a personal go-bag, creating a family emergency kit, and creating a family communication plan.
