Deborah Ruggles has been involved in genealogy for years. She is the past president of the Downstate Delaware Genealogical Society. Deborah hastaught classesin beginning genealogy at Kent County Library. Her passion lies with family history and the stories. Knowing six generations of her own family and having hundreds of letters from her husband’s family, she delights in sharing her family’s stories, preserving their memories, honor her ancestors, and giving insight to a time long past. Being an advocate for family history and genealogy, Deborah is happy to assist others in their search for family, stories, and roots.
The Downstate Delaware Genealogical Society, Inc. (DDGS) is a non-profit corporation established in 1999 to further the interest in genealogical research among its members and to assist others with an interest in genealogicalresearch.
