In Harmony Concert Series: Delaware Choral Society
Since 1957, The Delaware Choral Society has brought the music of great composers to Dover and its surrounding communities. Originally organized to sing 'Messiah' by G. F. Handel, the Choral Society has since expanded its repertoire to include the works of other significant composers from the Renaissance to the present.
The Delaware Choral Society is made up of non-auditioned singers from all over Delaware and Maryland. The group is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization continually striving to bring musical enjoyment to the community while maintaining high standards of artistic excellence.
This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. The Division promotes Delaware arts events at www.DelawareScene.com.
