It may be summer, but cool off with some fun reading! Perfect for all ages, our summer reading program is fun, free, and easy. Simply read 10 hours (only 600 minutes) to complete summer reading and earn great prizes. Grab a good book and visit the beach, listen to an audiobook while gardening or read to your children before bedtime! All types of reading can count, and you can read whatever you choose!

Adult Summer Reading (ages 18+)

When: June 1 - August 6, 2023

What: Simply read 10 hours and log your minutes to complete summer reading!

How:

• Register online using Beanstack: https://sussexcountyde.beanstack.org/
• Or use the free mobile Beanstack App (made by Zoobean)
• Or print off or pick up a paper reading log at the library!

Why:

• Because reading is fun! And you can earn raffle chances for great prizes valued at around $50.  (Must complete summer reading online using Beanstack to earn raffle tickets)
• Adults who complete the program will also receive a complimentary All Together Now Reuseable Tote Bag, a bookmark, and a library card holder (while supplies last). 

Teen Summer Reading (Ages 12-17):

When: June 1 - August 6, 2023

What: Simply read 10 hours and log your minutes to complete summer reading!

How:

• Or use the free mobile Beanstack App (made by Zoobean)
• Or print off or pick up a paper reading log at the library!

Why:

• Because reading is fun and you can read whatever you want! Graphic novels, magazines, and books all count!
• Earn raffle chances for great prizes valued at around $50.  (Must complete summer reading online using Beanstack to earn raffle tickets)
• Teens who complete the program will also receive:

  • A customized T-shirt (attend a workshop to use our Cricut machine to make your own design) 

  • Free Book

  • $10 Tangers Outlet Gift Card

  • $2 Coupon for Sweetiez Candy Shop

  • $1 Coupon for Millville Boardwalk
