Love Your Mother: A Book Discussion and Climate Conversation
Join us in the library for a discussion on Love Your Mother: 50 States, 50 Stories, and 50 Women United in Climate Justice by Mallory McDuff.
Through a diversity of voices that include, among others, First Nation elders, scientists, farmers, activists, lawyers, artists and young people running for office, Mallory McDuff has woven together the passions and creative initiatives of 50 women on a common mission...climate justice. Highlighting one from each state, she shares their stories. Lisa Locke, Delaware Interfaith Power & Light’s previous executive director and program manager, and the Climate Conversations program she envisioned and developed, are showcased for Delaware.
Lisa will lead a discussion of the inspiring stories in this book and facilitate a climate conversation to explore the creative power of women in advocating for climate justice in Delaware.
Co-sponsored by Delaware Interfaith Power & Light and Energize Delaware.
